Skin Care Review and Recommendations

Cleure is one of the very few product lines that I personally recommend here at My Sensitive Skin Care.  Let me tell you the story of how I found them and fell in love with the products and the company.

It all started with my fine, thin hair, and a seemingly endless search for a hypoallergenic fragrance free volumizing shampoo!

I can't use most hair products as they have fragrance. Most fragrance free hair products look terrible on my hair, dulling the shine and making the hair dry and even thinner looking, causing split ends and so on. Some hair products just made me look like a wet cat! :-)

At that time I knew nothing about the effect of cosmetic ingredients on sensitive skin, and even less about safe cosmetic ingredients. I was simply desperate to find a fragrance free volumizing shampoo.

Although the Cleure product descriptions did not say "no added fragrance", I noticed that the ingredient list indeed had no added fragrance. Just to be sure, I called their customer service line and they assured me that the products have no added fragrance.

Above and Beyond the Call of Duty

Well, I was almost set to order, and then I noticed ... Yikes!! they deliver by USPS! (United States Postal Service)

I live in the high desert of central Oregon, USA ... way out in the "boon docks". It's like the wild west here and our mailboxes are out on a main road, far, far from the house.

And, when we are lucky enough to get a postal package delivered, it can end up anywhere on our five acres, including the trash!!

Yes, that actually has happened!!

So, I make it a point to ONLY get mail delivered by UPS or Fed Ex.

I called the company and spoke to a friendly gentleman named Andy. Yes, he said, they use USPS for shipping. I asked tentatively, is there any possible way they could ship by UPS?

He didn't hesitate for a second.

"Sure, we can do that for you!"

I happily received my Cleure shampoo and conditioner and set out to try them. It wasn't until a year later that I found out that Andy personally drove to the UPS store to ship my products!!

I have since learned that Cleure will go above and beyond the call of duty to help their customers. They will ship anywhere in the world, and they always go the extra mile.

My Experience with the Products

I noticed that their hypoallergenic shampoo was clear and concentrated. I needed just a little. It had no perfumes or essential oils, but it DID have some kind of scent, that smelled like, well ... shampoo!

The mild scent did not bother me, and I discovered later that this comes from the ingredients themselves. Then I tried the Cleure conditioner. It was pure white, silky but not greasy, and needed just a minute on my hair to detangle it.

I was thrilled with the results! Lo and behold, my hair finally looked the way it is supposed to ... clean, soft and shiny.

You can't imagine my relief after four long years of looking!

Trying the Other Products

When I noticed how well the shampoo and conditioner worked, I began to want try some of their other products. Their prices are reasonable, and they periodically have specials which allow you to get a discount.

I discovered that they also have exceptional hypoallergenic toothpaste which whitened my teeth nicely without irritating my sensitive gums. I have a lot of dental problems and I learned that Cleure products are formulated by a dentist and so I was immediately impressed.

My teeth are too sensitive to use most whitening products but the Cleure Toothpaste does a great job of whitening my teeth without any pain or irritation.

Skin Care Products

About this time I started having facial breakouts from using a nice, all natural, organic skin line that I loved. I'd been using them for years and suddenly it was too much for me.

So, I reluctantly gave them up and decided to give their Skin Care products a try. Their products looked simple and much more affordable than most good quality skin care. You can read more about my results with their skin care products.

The most pleasing aspect of the products for me is that they work so well. In the past I had a lot of trouble with so many safe or natural skin care and personal care products that just didn't work!

The other thing I have really appreciated about the company is their customer service. They are very prompt in fulfilling orders and they go the extra mile to take care of each and every customer, even if you have an unusual request. I have found all the staff to be quite delightful and a pleasure to work with.
