Natural Approaches for Dandruff and Oily Skin and Scalp
I have skin dandruff and excess oil production so I am interested in natural ways to address this.

1. One of the best whole body ways to address dandruff and excess oil production is to be sure you are getting enough Essential Fatty Acids in your diet. A good quality
pure fish oil supplement can help with this, as well as eating plenty of whole, natural foods that contain EFA's.
2. Many people find that their shampoo is the cause of their dandruff. Try instead using a good
hypoallergenic shampoo that is gentle and contains no fragrance or chemical irritants. My favorite is the
Cleure shampoo and also their
conditioner which works fantastically without any harsh chemicals or allergens.
3. A very simply
home remedy for dandruff is to rinse your hair with a solution of 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar, 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide and 2 1/2 cups water.
Some people vary this recipe by using just water and apple cider vinegar. You can also strengthen the mixture by using equal amounts of water and apple cider vinegar.
Leave it on your hair for a few minutes, then apply tea tree oil to your hair and scalp and leave it on overnight. In the morning, wash the oil out with
hypoallergenic shampoo.
