Razor Bump Scars in Bikini area

I am African-American and i started shaving at an early age. i got razor bumps which left scars on my pubic area. My question is what type of laser scar removal technique can be used to clear up the scars and how much will be the price range?

I don't know a lot about laser hair removal, but my understanding is that this is one of the better options for removing razor bumps (also known as pseudofolliculitis barbae). You would want to find someone who uses a Nd YAG long pulsed laser which will minimize any potential damage to darker skin.

From what I have found in my research, the cost for laser hair removal for razor bumps averages around $400 per treatment in the United States. This price varies quite a bit depending on your exactly location, and also will vary depending on the practitioner that you use. Apparently dermatologists tend to charge more than clinics that are specialized in hair removal. The number of treatments you would need also varies, I've seen estimates from doctors that say it takes about one to two years to remove the hair, and then you can work on removing the scars after this. There doesn't appear to be a lot of information yet (that I could find) on exactly how permanent the treatment is. I'm not an expert in laser treatments, but I know with sensitive skin that you would want to research this very carefully and if you try it, to go slowly and ask about the possibility to doing some kind of patch test to see how to tolerate the treatment.
