Severe Acne Scar and Discoloration
Is there a way to at least minimize severe acne scars? I'm not really looking a for a way to completely remove them ( I don't think there is something out there that is all natural and won't break the bank) but is there any possibility that they can be less noticeable? My skin looks like decaying flesh in the sunlight. This has really affected me much more than the acne itself. It is so obvious cause the acne scars are in my temples and cheeks.
Our replyOh my goodness, I understand. Some acne scars will fade over time, but in the meantime, there are some ways you can help your skin to heal itself more quickly. We do have an extensive section on
healing scars, and some of the most effective tips for sensitive skin include the following:
- Lemon Juice is a very simple and yet very effective way to lighten scars and even out skin tone. You do need to be careful with sensitive skin, test this out first on your arm. I find the best results by simply rubbing the lemon rind onto the scars or areas that need healing. Sometimes my skin will get a little red, but it doesn't break out and it does improve over time. It takes a while to see results.
- Honey is another natural method of healing scars, again this takes a while (and is very sticky, not very practical for daytime use) but can be very effective.
- This brand of MSM Cream can work wonders for acne scars, and many people who have struggled with acne scarring credit this to removing or significantly lightening their acne scars.
I hope these may help you to find a solution for your acne scars.

Scar Healing Tips

I personally like to use lemon or tomoto. I just apply it gently on my skin, and it really helps to heal scars and age spots. I also love Dari Natural's skin care. They are excellent for senstive and acne prone skin. Especially their gentle facial cream. It's an excellent natural moisturizer!
